This wonderful 5 strand Zuni fetish necklace is carved from multiple stones of travertine, jasper, jadeite, marbles, turquoise and jet which form birds and bears that all come together in beautifully matched earth-tones. 123 fetishes on five strands by themselves make this amazing artwork a pinnacle example of the Zuni fetish carver’s art. While many of the beautiful festishes on this piece strongly echo several known carvers the exact artist for this wonderful examples is currently still being researched. No matter the artist the beauty of this fetish necklace really doesn’t get much better than this.

Measures: 27” end to end up to 30” end to end by the strand. Largest fetishes are 1 & 1/8th” x 1/4” graduating to 5/8ths” x 3/8ths”. Weighs a very impressive 238 grams.

Condition is excellent with no broken or damaged fetishes to note.
