Steven Curtis and Steven Bradt currently steward The Shaman’s Lodge and its offerings of intrinsically beautiful Native American art out of Taos, New Mexico. Steven Curtis is an author, artist and historian deeply connected with the American Southwest. His love for the Red Rock Country prompted him to study its Indigenous art history as well as inspired his particular interest in its conservation and protection. Notably he has written the biography on the legendary early silversmith Fred Peshlakai, one of the most revered early Native American artists of the 20th Century. Steven Bradt, is a woodworker, gem cutter and silversmith working on developing his own line of silver and wood art. They bring 40 years of experience in the field to The Shaman’s Lodge and offer their friends and visitors here some of the finest examples of Native American Art available on the market today.
