This extraordinary necklace is a very early 1930’s example of the ‘Box and Bow’ style of Navajo squash blossom necklaces produced during the 20th Century. This progenitor of the type, features hand cut and polished stones that are set in the characteristic high-wall bezel mounts that indicates the early date for the creation of this rare example. Hand wrought beads and a well worn yet highly revered presence make this early example of Navajo silver art a treasure.

Measures: 23.75” end to end. Naja measures: 2.87” w. x 2.87” h. Largest side element is” 1.75” w. x .62” h. Weighs: 182 grams.

Condition is excellent with a fine patina.
